Nassau Cruise Port is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to join our team. Reporting directly to the Manager of ICT, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, WIFI/LAN/WAN/WINDOWS SERVER 2019/VNWARE/ EXSI /networking, Windows administration, and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Manager of ICT to oversee networking operations, including WIFI/LAN/WAN networking.
· Provide support and administration for Windows servers and systems under the guidance of the Manager.
· Assist in the configuration and management of QuickBooks Enterprise software.
· Deliver desktop user support for hardware and software issues, working closely with the Manager.
· Participate in configuring and maintaining SFT network and VMware environments under supervision.
· Work collaboratively with the ICT team to ensure seamless ICT operations and projects.
· Perform physical tasks, such as lifting 25 lbs or more when needed for equipment setup and maintenance, and pulling wires as part of ICT infrastructure installations.
· Comfortable with long walking distances across the port to attend to ICT needs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Minimum of 10+ years of experience in ICT roles, with expertise in networking and Windows administration.
· Proficiency in WIFI/LAN/WAN networking principles and protocols.
· Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise configuration is a plus.
· Windows 11 pro is a plus
· Strong skills in desktop user support and Windows server management.
· Knowledge of SFT network configuration and VMware environments.
· Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
